Clifton Interiors, working in partnership with Nicholas Lee Architects, were tasked with creating a family home that was both elegant and comfortable.

The kitchen, originally located in what was the dark and gloomy basement, was opened up and is transformed in to a light flooded space. Double height glazing offers a view to the garden and sky above. The use of exposed brick, cantilevered steel staircase, and concrete floor give this stunning contemporary kitchen and living space an urban feel. Eclectic furniture and colourful art softens the tone of the room, adds personality, and makes it more of a fun space.

This modern eclecticism is continued throughout the rest of the property where the client’s mid-century and vintage pieces fit perfectly with the carefully selected contemporary items. A cinema room and the top floor games room offer relaxation and fun.

“The fun thing about this project was there were many opportunities to do something different. From the pinball coffee table to the glass floor on the landing of the stair and the introduction of vintage furniture to give the rooms style and personality. An all time fave”
