    Architecture: Nick Lee Architects

Clifton Interiors, working alongside Nicholas Lee Architects, crafted a modern eclectic family home that balances elegance with relaxed, cool living. The kitchen, once tucked away in a dark basement, has been completely transformed into a light-filled hub. Double-height glazing floods the space with daylight while framing views of the garden and sky, with bi-fold doors allowing for seamless indoor-outdoor living when the London weather permits.

Urban textures like exposed brick, a cantilevered steel staircase, and polished concrete floors give the kitchen and living areas a contemporary edge. Eclectic furniture and colourful artwork add warmth, personality, and playful contrast, making the space as inviting as it is stylish.

This modern eclecticism flows throughout the house, where mid-century vintage pieces sit comfortably alongside curated contemporary furnishings. Dedicated spaces for leisure—a cinema room and games lounge on the top floor—round out a home designed for family life and modern fun.

“The fun thing about this project was there were many opportunities to do something different. From the pinball coffee table to the glass floor on the landing of the stair and the introduction of vintage furniture to give the rooms style and personality. An all time fave”
